Harris is originally from rural Prince Edward Island, a place rich in storytelling. Some of his favorite childhood memories are that of the family farm and homestead where he grew up with his seven siblings. Dinner time at the Harris residence was a time to tell tales and catch up on the community news. He naturally left home to pursue a career in the arts, attending St. Thomas University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism.
Harris developed a love for still photography while shooting a feature documentary for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in southern Ethiopia. He has worked on a number of projects, both television and print, and continues to expand his portfolio.
He currently provides photography services for the following clients:
Parks Canada, Tourism PEI, PEI Mussels, East Coast Living Magazine, Rogers, TC Media, Halifax Port Authority, CBC, PEI Potato, Atlantic Canada Opportunity Agency, Canadian Fertilizer Institute, Carleton University, Dalhousie University, Graphcom Group, PEI Culinary Alliance, Royale and more...
